Abid Saddique & Mohammed Liaqat

Abid Mohammed Saddique, 27, and Mohammed Romaan Liaqat, 28 - both married with children - led a gang of men from Derby convicted of systematically grooming and sexually abusing teenage girls.

Many of the victims were given alcohol or drugs before being forced to have sex in cars, rented houses or hotels across the Midlands. One girl described a sexual assault involving at least eight men.

The nine men in the gang were convicted during three separate trials, culminating in the convictions at Leicester Crown Court of the two ringleaders. Reporting restrictions had been in place until the end of the third trial.

Twenty-seven girls came forward to say they had been victims, the youngest of whom was 12 and the oldest was 18. Convictions have been achieved for 15 of those.

Saddique, of Northumberland Street, Normanton, Derby, was convicted of four counts of rape as well as two counts of false imprisonment, two of sexual assault, three charges of sexual activity with a child, perverting the course of justice, and aiding and abetting rape.

Liaqat, of Briar Lea Close, Sinfin, Derby, was found guilty of one count of rape, two of sexual assault, aiding and abetting rape, affray, and four counts of sexual activity with a child.

The worst sort of scum - as they didn't even do it for the money! Burn the fuckers!

scum of the earth. I hope the inmates get to them and make their lives hell.

One of the most disturbing things I heard being done to the young. I also think their sentences are way to short. It should be 20 years minimum

Pakistanis, let's be clear, are not the only people who commit sexual offences, and overwhelmingly the sex offenders' wings of prisons are full of white sex offenders.

But there is a specific problem which involves Pakistani heritage men who target vulnerable young white girls.

We need to get the Pakistani community to think much more clearly about why this is going on and to be more open about the problems that are leading to a number of Pakistani heritage men thinking it is OK to target white girls in this way.

These young men are in a western society, in any event, they act like any other young men, they're fizzing and popping with testosterone, they want some outlet for that, but Pakistani heritage girls are off-limits and they are expected to marry a Pakistani girl from Pakistan, typically.

So they then seek other avenues and they see these young women, white girls who are vulnerable, some of them in care who they think are easy meat

I first raised this two or three years ago and I got a lot of stick within the community from people who said I was doing the work of the BNP and stigmatising them.

Most people didn't realise the seriousness of it. But now, after a series of court cases, things have changed. I have had a lot of support.

These gangs that operate are criminals. There's nothing in their culture, there's nothing in their religion to suggest that this sort of thing is ingrained.

And for Jack Straw to suggest that this somehow is ingrained within young Pakistani men, I think is quite dangerous.

Multiculturalism is a settlement under which different communities are allowed, within certain legal restraints, to find their own way.

Its inevitable outcome is that there’s no real integration into Britain’s liberal and democratic settlement.

We have long passed the point at which such a policy is tolerable, if it ever was, or at which serious problems, such as the grooming by some young Pakistani men of some non-Pakistanti young girls, should not be openly debated.

There’s an alternative both to silencing discussion by sweeping awkward subjects under the carpet, or exposing vulnerable people to racial and religious abuse, namely, a public conversation that doesn’t shirk the issues.

I believe that such exchanges will reach a clear consensus: that there must be integration into common British norms, including, of course, equal opportunities for women and zero tolerance of racism.

I know the men did the wrong thing. But the girls went to bed before legally wed - what did they expect?
Don't get into cars with strange men or drink heavily - men will take advantage. Fact.

I definitely blame the parents. Teach your kids self-respect. Do not have sex before marriage or without the promise of marriage. If a man lies to get a woman in bed then it is considered rape. Rape by deceit and should immediately become a police matter.

These girls got treated like unpaid whores. What a vile disgusting way to be used!!!! I really feel sorry for them.

Western so-called "sexually liberated" culture allowed for the sexual abuse of these women. The men picked these girls up and took them to a hotel or room to pressure them for sex. There was no exchange of money. Didn't the girls ever think, wait a minute.... 'if you're going to treat me like a whore then you can at least pay me... if not then i will consider it rape and it will become a police matter'. Did any of them say that???

NO, they were pushovers, naive victims of western culture and a crappy upbringing with no moral guidance. And these men took advantage of that to use these girls for sex. The girls should have immediately called the police as soon as they were abused. They should have been taught by their parents what to do and that they need to have respect for their body.

These two are Muslim Scum who should be kicked to fuck and then set on fire. A bit of Sharia law type punishment.
Of course the Muslim apologists have all forgotten that the Koran basically categorizes all non Muslim females as prostitutes so giving shite like this pair an excuse to prey on young white girls.
