John Onyenaychi

John Onyenaychi, dubbed one of Britain’s most dangerous men, slit PC Paul Madden’s throat then sliced into community support officer Piotr Dolata’s head in front of horrified Christmas shoppers in  December 2010.

PC Madden’s life was saved by a retired heart surgeon out buying presents who stemmed the blood pumping from the 23-year-old officer’s neck with his hands until an ambulance arrived. He also helped PCSO Dolata, 27, who had blood spurting from his scalp and needed 12 stitches.

Judge Peter Beaumont said of PC Madden’s wounds: “An ambulance technician of eight years’ service said the injuries were the worst she had seen.”

He commended PC Madden, who was left with permanent scarring after emergency surgery, for “the courage he displayed that day” and in returning to work so soon after. He also praised Dr Tadjkarimi and awarded him £500 for “undoubtedly saving PC Madden’s life”.

Four days before the attacks in Ealing, West London, Onyenaychi, stabbed Muhammad Memon five times in a cab office in nearby Greenford. Two days later he met Ahmed Niazmand through a website to discuss buying a laptop and an iPhone but took them at knifepoint from him in South Kensington.

He stabbed the police officers after he became agitated when challenged about his ticket on a bus and they recognised him as a man wanted for a previous attack.Fellow PCSO Steven Constable was also slashed twice but escaped serious injury.

Onyenaychi, of Stratford, East London, was given two concurrent life sentences, with a minimum 25 years, after being found guilty of the attempted murders. He had been out on licence from a jail term for causing death by dangerous driving He also received concurrent sentences for wounding, attempted wounding and robbery.

Det Chief Insp John McFarlane added: “Onyenaychi is a truly evil man and London is a much safer place with him behind bars.”

The ovens might be a better place?

This guy was known as 'black John' and was notorious around Hanwell and West London. He was a crack/ coke head, psychopath and regularly stabbed, beat and possibly shot people at the request of local gangsters in return for drugs and cash. I am glad he's inside he definately never caused anything but pain when he was free.
